TRADES
Trades refer to different professional courses offered in Vocational
Training Institute such as Computer Operator Course or Safety Officer Course. A number of different trades are being taught in VTI Tarnol. For
complete information of each trade read below.
Auto-CAD
The Auto Cad Operator Training Program offers practical courses to allow the student to become functional with 2D drawing creation using Auto CAD products. Auto CAD is a computerized drafting program used to improve productivity in the work place.
Computer Operator
Computer Operator course include basic computer knowledge
with MS Office applications (Word,Excel,PowerPoint etc) ,In-page
and some graphic designing softwares. The course is offered for
both Male and Female students and has course length of six months.
Clinical Assistant
Clinical assistants generally provide laboratory and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and laboratory technicians. Clinical assistants can also provide prep services and limited patient care, like setting up examining rooms and taking patients' medical history.This course is offered for both male and female students and has course length of one year including six months internship.
Safety Officer
Safety Officer isresponsible for ensuring safety regulations for assessing unsafe situations or hazards in a place or at an event, etc. Organisers had consulted widely with police, stewards and safety officers to ensure tight security. This course is
offered only for Male students with six month course length.
Dress Making
Dressmaking is defined as the craft of sewing clothes and dresses
Sewing is the craft of fastening or attaching objects using stitches made with a needle and thread. Fine hand sewing is a characteristic of high-quality tailoring and custom dressmaking, and is pursued by both textile artists and hobbyists as a means of creative expression. This course has course length of one year.
Embroidery
Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched in strands of thread or yarn using a needle.Embroidery may also incorporate other materials such as metal strips, pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. Sewing machines can be used to create machine embroidery. This course extends over six months and is offered only for female students.
Beautician
Course consist of safety practices, aesthetics theory and the use of products. Students also gain practical experience working under supervision with real clients. Course also covers the methods of designing of small decorating products.
